Ad Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, documenting defects, and collaborating with developers to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
Software Testing
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Validate software applications against business and technical requirements.
Identify, document, and track software defects until resolution.
Test Planning
Analyze software requirements and prepare test plans and test scenarios.
Develop comprehensive test cases based on project specifications.
Estimate testing effort and timelines.
Ensure complete test coverage for all application features.
Bug Tracking & Reporting
Report defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
Prepare test execution reports and defect summaries.
Automation Testing
Develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
Execute automation test suites and analyze results.
Support continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.
Improve test automation coverage and efficiency.
Quality Assurance
Ensure software meets quality, usability, security, and performance standards.
Participate in code reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
Perform compatibility testing across browsers and devices.
Recommend process improvements to enhance software quality.
Documentation & Collaboration
Maintain test documentation, test reports, and quality metrics.
